Offered is a complete set of 'Squiggler' Doll ballpoint pens. I originally sold these through my online store HisNibs.com, back before -- and slightly after -- the turn of the century. I only stopped when the manufacturer went out of business. I made a practice of keeping one of each Squiggler as it was produced and so have had this collection since about 2001 or 2002. I originally sold them for $9.95 each, and then $6.95 when the company was closing down. I offered a quanitity discount price of $6.00 each for 10 or more. As I originally said on my website: "Fashioned in brilliant polymer clay or resin, these 5-1/2" beauties are also ballpoint pens!!!! Manufactured by You're a Star, Inc., these are very limited editions, as new pens are constantly being created and retired -- so if you see one or more that you like -- don't hesitate! They make great back to school or stocking stuffers! The perfect gift for anyone who collects dolls -- or pens! To refill a pen, use scissors to pull the cone-shaped end, near the ballpoint. It will pop right out, and can be replaced with a Bic refill that will need to be shortened by cutting off about 1/3"." As the production continued, some Squigglers were a bit longer than 5-1/2", some a bit shorter. The pens were all hand-painted, which has led to some issues, as they were stored for 13 years in plastic containers. Approximately 30% of them have had noticeable 'running' in the paint, especially around the eyes (which makes some of them look a bit like racoons!), and some of them have paint that's a bit sticky to the touch -- especially in hot weather. However, all of them would serve well if displayed. Each individually-named Squiggler comes with an attached 'Identity card', listing birthday, name and short 'bio' unique to that doll/pen. For example: Born January 9th. Hannah has decided that her dad is the very best dad in the world. He takes her all kinds of fun places...places that he would never go to if it weren't for his Hannah! Born February 13th. Jill had very special things to write in her diary today. She worked at a church last week helping children of homeless families. She feels even more grateful for her family! Born June 10th. Alysha loves to swim and read, but her real love is fashion. When asked where she wanted to go this summer, she said "Shopping in New York". This is her "Girl Gettin' Fancy" look! I am only interested in selling the entire collection, not individual pieces. There are 82 unique Squiggler dolls. Due to the condition issues with a minority of them, I have offering the entire collection for $246.00 plus shipping (that's $3.00 per doll/pen, half of the quantity discount price in 2001!). Warranties and returns If an item proves to be defective, in most cases the manufacturer's warranty will apply. However, please email us first so that we can determine the easiest way to resolve the problem to your satisfaction. In the case of fountain pens -- which are a bit more individualistic than other writing instruments -- what may at first appear to be a defect (hard starting or poor flow for example), can in almost all cases be resolved with a few simple 'tweaks' to the nib, which we'll be happy to guide you through or perhaps suggest returning to us for adjustment. Should you wish to return a non-defective item within 3 days of receipt because it doesn't suit you for some reason, again please email us and we'll arrange an exchange, credit or refund (minus any shipping/insurance charges), if the item is returned in an 'as new' condition. If you've dipped a fountain pen to try its writing characteristics, kindly clean off any ink residue prior to shipping -- to save us both a nasty surprise . We want you to be happy with your purchase from HisNibs.com and hope to have you join the ranks of our many long-term, repeat customers!
